A long audio file into several smaller files you can break very easily as Adobe Audition 3 by using an audio editing program. Other programs are other ways of doing the same thing, but maybe this article will focus on audition equipment. If you ready to save a little life? Read on.
If you work with audio recording studio on your PC, you, at some point, will almost certainly bring to an audio of the long section and the audio needs changing in lots of little squares. This task usually a small audio file contains a different name. The first time I work I can not imagine anyone was presented with was to do it again and again that did not include several seconds of audio from the main file, cut, paste into a new audio file, and then "Use Save" function as audio appropriate file name to that little piece. Gahh! Does not look that bad when you change a 1 minute long sound file and save it as 4 or 5 small ones are talking about can be. But when you are presented with 45 minutes of embedded audio, and final project requires 100 small audio files, well, it quickly becomes apparent that it is bad. That is until you find a better way it can compare the "Save as cut-paste" techniques 100 times.
, Is not afraid to die-hard audio recording ninja! Adobe Audition 3.0 is your weapon of choice. Here's how you can achieve everything in a matter of minutes would have been a long and tedious task.
Step 1. Open the audio file in your audition.
Step 2. The first bit of audio to your files as saved by dragging the cursor over it will need to choose.
Step 3. On your computer keyboard "F8" key hit. Selected for the audio you will create a phrase marker.
Step 4. Window drop down menu, select the marker list. It is a floating window that shows all the markers you create long file open.
Step 5. Audio Repeat steps 2-3 for the next bit that needs to be as close to your file saved. This process only takes about 5 seconds. Highlight and hit F8, highlight and hit F8.
Step 6. Once you have audio in all 100 blocks are marked, you list 100 showing your marker marker. The next window is called each one labeled. Maybe you telling you what documents you should have a short file name. Just target file name to copy and paste it into the label window.
Step 7. Since each marker has a label, batch process, markers for marker area click on the icon at the bottom of the window. Icon looks like those old floppy disks.
Step 8. Your destination folder and the output audio file format (MP 3, wav, etc.) and put a tick in the box that says "use the filename as the marker label." Then hit OK. That's it! Done! Each marked with the phrase now its appropriate file name is his own file.
Well, I'm listening. Even a bit tedious and repetitive process was. Certainly there is a way to automate it even further. Yes there is, especially if the specific filenames, only to be unique is not well. For example, if the project name sound_1.wav 100 small audio files, sound_2.wav calls for ... sound_100.wav, the process is very low. You end up just 6 steps.
Then you have to do is remove the check mark from using the marker labeled as batch processing window, enter the file name marker categories. You also specify whether the points for each prefix (such as in the example above sound_) name can be on. Then each file will be named in sequence.
I hear more and moaning about the automatic? Sheesh, what a bunch of people are impatient. Well, there is one other thing you can do. It requires a bit of trial and error, but well worth it as long as there are at least in large files between each bit of audio is a little bit of silence will be.
Select the file sufficiently large so that it contains 4 or 5 short phrases in the audio. / Auto Mark Edit / phrase Find and select Mark. If you're lucky, or all 4 of 5 audio phrases will be marked at a click of a button! You automatically adjust settings Mark (see figure 4) to what signs and silence, etc. But after you set up properly, the entire file and select run and Mark can get the word. Boom! Audio from all the 100 blocks are marked in a moment.
